Sinopsis:
En el siglo XXI se hizo pública la existencia de seres híbridos entre humano y animal tras haber pasado toda su historia en las sombras. Michiru llevaba una vida normal como humana hasta que un día se convierte en una medio tanuki. Huye como puede y se refugia en una ciudad especial llamada "Anima City" que abrió sus puertas 10 años atrás para que los híbridos vivieran abiertamente sin importar su condición. Allí Michiru conoce a Shirou, un hombre lobo que odia a los humanos. A través de Shirou, Michiru comienza a comprender las preocupaciones y el estilo de vida de los híbridos, acostumbrándose a su nueva vida. Mientras Michiru y Shirou intentan descubrir por qué Michiru se convirtió de repente en una híbrida, acaban viéndose involucrados en un incidente a gran escala.
